Nick LoMaglio is a Southside native and founder of Advice Beyond the Classroom. Along with the help of other mentors, students, and volunteers, Nick created the curriculum for the Professional ABCs. Teaching the next generation how to manufacture their own luck by building interpersonal skills is the core mission of the program.

Kyle James

Kyle is a 2021 graduate of St. Rita High School and is studying Economics and Business at The University of Chicago. “My goal is to become proficient in the art of financial literacy, utilizing my skill set to embark on a journey in the world of investing,” he said. “The ultimate endgame for me is having the ability to give back as well as motivating, teaching, and inspiring those who  come after me.”

Zuzu Cranley

Zuzu is a 2021 graduate of Mother McAuley High School and currently attends Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL.

Nick Adent

Nick is a 2020 graduate of St. Rita High School, where he was president of the Advice Beyond the Classroom Program, a student council officer, and vice president of the National Honor Society. He attends the University of Chicago and is studying Economics in preparation for a career in investment banking. Both he and Kyle James also play football for the University of Chicago.

What is Advice Beyond the Classroom?

A nonprofit organization that teaches real-world professional skills and financial literacy basics, Advice Beyond the Classroom was founded in 2014 by Nick LoMaglio. ABC provides instruction to help motivated young people prepare for professional success.
