The Blue House Turns 40

The Catholic Youth Ministry Center at Morgan Park High School (The Blue House) is celebrating 40 years of service to students. This year’s fundraiser will honor the St Barnabas Parish for its steadfast support of The Blue House, Sat., May 18, 5 to 9 p.m., 115 Bourbon Street, 3359 W. 115th St

Over its long history, community support for the Blue House has come from donations of all sizes, making it possible for the doors to stay open.  The center continues to make young people feel welcome, while offering opportunities to practice skills they will need to succeed as adults.  Student members plan and run events for their peers, participate in job- and college-readiness workshops and gather for regular peace circles.

Tickets to the fundraiser are $40 and include dinner, wine, beer and pop.  To make reservations or donate call 773-881-0193, or donate online at cymcatmphs.org via Pay Pal.
