The South Side Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade committee hosts its annual golf outing Mon., Sept. 20 at Ridge Country Club, 10522 S. California Ave. Proceeds from the event will help support the 43rd Annual South Side Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade scheduled for Sun., Mar. 13, 2022.
“After the past year and many months of the pandemic, we are excited to be planning for the annual march down Western Avenue in 2022,” said Don Larisey, co-chair of the South Side Irish Parade Committee. “Our annual golf outing brings together our friends, neighbors and parade supporters to help support our parade, the celebration of Irish heritage, family and community.”
The golf outing will begin with golfer check-in at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Tickets include 18 holes of golf with a cart, light lunch on the course, and dinner at the Halfway to the Parade Day party following the golfing at 5 p.m.
Golfers will also receive refreshments on the course and a gift bag, and will be entered into basket raffles.
The Parade Committee invites community members and non-golfers to come out and celebrate the post golf Halfway to Parade Day celebration outside on Ridge Country Club patio at 5 p.m. The event will include live music, dinner and cocktails.
Tickets for golf and dinner party are available on the South Side Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade website, southsideirishparade.org.
