Imagine it: Delicious foods are ready to serve, a musician is playing your favorite tunes, the ice is clinking in your glass. When the doorbell signals the arrival of all your favorite friends, and you don’t have anything to do but enjoy yourself. Cheers! You are a guest at your holiday party!

Here’s the checklist of the things you won’t have to worry about:

  • Entertainment. Anthony Massaro, a talented solo musician and member of the band Caution, performs three hours of acoustic music.
  • Food. Calabria Imports, a neighborhood favorite for 18 years, will cater a selection of your homemade favorites, from appetizers to specialty dishes.  Get $350 to feed your guests.
  • Drinks. You will have a $300 gift certificate to buy the beverages of your choice at Morand’s Liquors.
  • Decorating. Leave your party décor to Skippagosh, the one-stop, party-planning experts.
  • Serving. From plating to passing to picking up, The Party Pros will have your food and beverage services covered.
  • Clean-Up. The professionals from The Party Pros will take care of that, too!

Here’s how BAPA’s 12 Weeks of Christmas Raffle works:

Every week through December 23, BAPA will offer prize packages valued at $1500 each and composed of gift certificates, experiences and/or merchandise purchased at full retail price from small businesses and business owners in our community.

All 12 packages go live at the same time, and raffle tickets can be purchased until 3 p.m. Friday of the week a package is featured. Buy tickets for any of the packages until the winning tickets are drawn! Drawings are held at 5 p.m. Fridays (final package drawing is 5 p.m., Wed., Dec. 23).

There is no ticket limit.

Support Local Businesses and BAPA

BAPA’s first 12 Weeks of Christmas Raffle last year inspired creative collaboration among businesses, with BAPA investing nearly $20,000 in our local economy and promoting the meals, goods and services available right here in Beverly/Morgan Park. This year’s raffle showcases new prizes, more businesses, and more options for “neighborly competition.”
