Castle Concert Series: Michael Peter Smith & Anne Hills, Sat., Dec. 14, 6:30-9 p.m. Givins Beverly Castle, 10244 S. Longwood Dr. The concert series fundraiser benefiting the Castle continues with this stunning folk duo. Described as “the greatest songwriter in the English language” by Rolling Stone, Smith teams up with “one of contemporary music’s premier vocalists, Hills, combining their considerable talents for a good cause. Suggested donation: $32.50.  Tickets/info: www.concertsatthecastle.org

Givins Beverly Castle: Acoustic Open Mic Night, Thurs., Dec. 19Givins Beverly Castle, 10244 S.
