A Park Advisory Council has been formed for Cosme Park, 9201 S. Longwood Dr., and a PAC meeting will be held Mon., June 6, 7 p.m., Ridge Park, west clubroom, 9625 S. Mercy Circle, 3659 W. 99th St., will support Pat’s Pantry by accepting community food drive donations of non-perishable food and toiletry items through Tue., June 7, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Boxes to deposit donations are available inside the main entrance. Pat’s Pantry was founded in 2021 at Mt. Greenwood Community Church.

Boundary, a unique art gallery located in a renovated garage at 2334 W. 111th Pl., opened in June 2017, and will celebrate its 5th year anniversary at a reception on Sat., June 18, 6 to 10 p.m. The reception also celebrates the opening of an exhibition featuring work from many of the artists who have exhibited there.  The exhibition will continue through July 30, with open hours on Saturdays, June 25, and July 9, 16, 23 and 30, 3 to 6 p.m., and other days by appointment. Get out and vote! Primary elections will be held Tues., June 28 in Illinois. On the ballot will be U. S. Senator, all statewide officers and state representatives, and several other offices. Locate your polling place or sign up to vote by mail at chicagoelections.com.
