Last Few Weeks!  BAPA’s Christmas Raffle Ends Dec. 23 

 

BAPA’s 12 Weeks of Christmas Raffle 2021 is going strong, with people competing online for creative collections of goods, services and meals from Beverly/Morgan Park businesses, each valued at $1500. Among the winners in the raffle are the small businesses whose goods and services BAPA is purchasing at retail value for each package — more than $20,000!  

The brisk friendly competition takes place at bapa.org, and with raffle tickets priced at just $20 each.  Weekly drawings are held on Fridays; ticket purchases for the week’s prize close at 3 p.m., and the winner is selected at random at 5 p.m.  Buy ahead! Tickets are available for all the packages not already won. The final drawing will be held Wed., Dec. 23.   

Each package has a theme to maximize the fun as well as the value. Participating in the raffle helps bolster the local economy and promote our amazing business community.  

The December 12 Weeks of Christmas raffle lineup: 

Week #9: Bedford Falls at BAC 

Drawing: Dec. 3 

You and 25 friends will have front row seats for a holiday screening of Frank Capra’s classic movie, “It’s a Wonderful Life” at the Beverly Arts Center on Dec. 22, followed by a private party in “Bedford Falls,” complete with a Christmas carol singalong, photo booth, decorations, and refreshments all inspired by this favorite holiday movie.  

Week #10: New Year, New You 

Drawing: Dec. 10 

Good nutrition. Quality sportswear. Rigorous regimens. This package covers everything you need to put you on the path to health and fitness with the help of local businesses in 2022:  Running Excels, Southtown Health Foods, Core Fitness, Treadfit, Barre It All Fitness, Live and Believe, F45, and Bani’s Beets.   

Week #11: Tailgate Touchdown 

Drawing: Dec. 17 

This ultimate tailgate package has fans covered: wings from Pizzeria Deepo, cheeseball and dip platter from Swanson’s, gourmet popcorn from Let’s Get Poppin’, and beer from Open Outcry Brewing Co. and Horse Thief Hollow brewpub. How are you going to serve up your food and beverages? On a custom-made portable bar from RPW Creations.  

Week #12: Dinner by Chef Won Kim 

Drawing: Dec. 23 

Chef and restaurateur Won Kim of Kimski, an eatery featuring Korean Polish street and Pizza Fried Chicken Ice Cream, prepares a private dinner with drinks and extras.   

Wrap Up the Raffle 

Here’s how it works: Through the week leading up to Christmas, BAPA will offer prize packages composed of gift certificates, experiences and/or merchandise purchased at full retail price from small businesses and business owners in our community. Each raffle package will be valued at $1500. Check out the prizes and buy your raffle tickets at bapa.org.  Buy tickets for any of the packages until the winning weekly tickets are drawn. There is no ticket limit. 

Ticket purchases for each week’s raffle close at 3 p.m. on Fridays. The prize drawings are at 5 p.m. The final raffle prize will be drawn on Wed., Dec. 23.
