Halfway to Parade Day Golf Outing

The South Side Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade committee will hoss the Halfway to Parade Day golf outing Mon., Sept. 20 at Ridge Country Club, 10522 S. California Ave. Proceeds from the event will help support the 43rd Annual South Side Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade scheduled for Sun., Mar. 13, 2022.

“After the past year and many months of the pandemic, we are excited to be planning for the annual march down Western Avenue in 2022,” said Don Larisey, co-chair of the South Side Irish Parade Committee. “Our annual golf outing brings together our friends, neighbors and parade supporters to help support our parade, the celebration of Irish heritage, family and community.”

The golf outing will begin with registration and lunch at 11 a.m., and a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Tickets include 18 holes of golf with a cart, light lunch on the course, and dinner. Golfers will receive refreshments on the course and a gift bag, and will be entered into basket raffles.

The Halfway to the Parade Day celebration follows golfing at 5 to 8 p.m., and features open bar, dinner and live music. The Parade committee invites non-golfers to enjoy the celebration at the country club

Tickets for golf and dinner are $225 for individuals and $900 for foursomes; and $65 for dinner only.
