Make a date with your kids for a Family Fun Night every Thursday in June. Join your neighbors in the Beverly Bank parking lot, 1908 W. 103rd St., from 5:30 to 7:30 pm for activities, music, food, and summer fun.
On June 2, Miss Jamie’s Farm will celebrate a Rootin’ Tootin’ Hoedown with songs and activities sure to appeal to all her barnyard buddies. Jamie has been performing at parties in Chicagoland since 2013, and is a favorite among kids and their parents.
Every week a different theme will be celebrated with special guests, activities, music, fun and food. Little Company of Mary Hospital will hand out giveaways to the kids and doctors will be available to talk about family health. Calabria Imports will sell food and Original Rainbow Cone will sell ice cream. Bring chairs and blankets.
Jeannie McQueenie Productions will put on a show for Playful Puppeteers on June 9. Known for interactive, original puppet shows that engage young audiences, Jeannie McQueenie gets kids moving with song, dance and more.
Nature’s Creatures, Erin Yanz’s petting zoo, joins the fun on Bubble Bash night, June 16. Kids will learn about animals and the environment and find out some interesting and fun facts. The evening will also include playtime with bubbles, sidewalk chalk and more.
On June 23, families will join in the official Summer Kick-Off Party. Live music and fun activities are in store.
