“Common Grounds: An Evening With Friends” will feature music and food and will promote the local business scene on Oct. 5, from 6 to 10 p.m., in the pavilion at the Dan Ryan Woods, 8700 S. Western Ave. Featuring five musicians performing in the pavilion located at the bottom of the popular sledding hill at the woods, the mini-festival is open to the first 100 people who make a minimum donation listed on the website for Get Local Beverly.
