Exploding out of the Western Suburbs, the Cryan’ Shames topped the Midwest charts on a regular basis from 1966-1969 with their harmony-fueled pop confections. Their straight-outta-the- garage debut, Sugar & Spice (which stars the indelible hit of the same name) contains some of the most memorable pop-rock of the ’60s! Check out one of Chicago’s greatest bands ever as they perform their hits at the BAC.
If you remember greasers, surfing, hot rods, American Bandstand and all those great dances, fads and songs that came out of Detroit, Philadelphia and California or if you just want to have a really terrific time listening to some great Rock ‘n Roll—then you’re ready for Ronnie Rice. Formerly of the New Colony Six, “Mr. Sing-Along” will help tune up your doo-wah-diddies and bop-shoo-bops so you can shake, rattle and roll.
