Be Part of Black Business Month & Join the Black Business Owner Directory

August is National Black Business Month, a designated time to celebrate and support Black-owned businesses nationwide. A group of local Black business owners, plus the Morgan Park Beverly Hills Business Association, 95th Street Business Association, and BAPA have been discussing ways to collaborate and connect. The conversations have resulted in a plan to create a Black business directory, as well as to partner during Black Business Month in August to host networking and development opportunities, as well as a culminating event at the 95th Street Farmers Market.

If you own a Black Business in Beverly/Morgan Park, plan to attend a kick-off event on Tues., July 25, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Afro Joe’s, 1818 W. 99th St., to connect, update or submit your business information to the local directory, and hear what ‘s being planned for August in our neighborhood.

We hope to see you there!
