BAC Hosts Virtual Gala Under the Big Top

The Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St., will host a virtual fundraising gala Sat., Apr24, beginning at 7 p.m. Set to the theme Under the Big Top, the gala will include a virtual auction and a performance by CircEsteem, a Chicago-based nonprofit that uses the practice and performance of circus arts to foster self-esteem and mutual respect in their students.

People are invited to view auction items in advance and make a plan for bidding at underthebigtop.givesmart.com. Proceeds from the virtual gala will help the BAC provide arts education and enrichment programming in dance, music, visual arts, theatre and film. In addition, the funds support the BAC’s outreach program which serves 45 schools in neighborhoods all across the South Side and south suburbs, offering nearly 700 classes and reaching over 12,500 students each year.

The annual gala helps the BAC provide accessible and affordable arts programs that enhances the quality of life of its patrons and the neighborhood. A vibrant and multifaceted nonprofit organization, the BAC is a unique community resource that has served Beverly/Morgan Park and surrounding communities since 1967. Support will ensure that BAC programs will continue to positively impact future generations with fines arts opportunitiesFor more information, visit www.beverlyartcenter.org.
