April is Diversity Month

At BAPA, we believe that diversity is not just a buzzword, but a fundamental value that we must uphold if we are to truly be a welcoming and inclusive community.

It is important to find intentional ways to grow in our understanding and support of others. As we move beyond our 75th year our vision continues to support the Beverly/Morgan Park community by celebrating diversity in all its forms, whether related to accessibility, age, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any aspect of our shared humanity. To be engaged, you must feel included and valued. At BAPA we endeavor to nurture a community where inclusiveness is a reflex, not an initiative.

These goals are central to our mission and to our impact.

Our ongoing mission is to cultivate and nurture spaces where we build and grow this incredible neighborhood together so that it is better equipped to be resilient in a changing world. We do this by connecting neighbors, community leaders and local businesses in creating opportunities for people to come together and support each other.
