Winners Announced for 2007 Plaza Art Competition 
 
James Kao of Hyde Park has won Best of Show in the 31st Annual Plaza Art Competition at the Beverly Arts Center, the most prestigious annual juried art competition in Chicago. The announcement was made Fri., Nov. 2 at the Center’s reception to recognize winners and open the exhibit that features works by the top prize winners, as well as works by the 44 finalists. Kao’s work, “Advent,” is an oil painting. The works will be on exhibit at the Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St., through Dec. 29.
