BAPA has standing committees that advise us on issues facing the community and on new programs. These committees are listed below.

Business Development and Support

Made up of real estate, banking, retail and economic development professionals, this committee keeps a close watch on our commercial strips. They advise BAPA on redevelopment projects, on current economic conditions and offer support for our local businesses.

Housing

This committee looks at housing issues in the neighborhood and develops strategies to maintain our housing values and support home ownership. 

Development

This committee is responsible for fundraising.

Marketing

This committee looks for ways to get BAP’s message out to the community and to attract new home buyers and businesses to our community.

Economic Development Task Force

Made up of members of the two business associations, the 19^th ward office, the City Department of Community Development and BAPA staff, this committee works on marketing our commercial strips to developers and attracting businesses to our community.
